Pay no attention to that smug little man behind the curtain. It is only Dick Chaney!

In our vaunted ‘land of the free’, I would like to know exactly who is being represented. It’s not the people, surely. In this era of a corporate influenced administrative agenda, this phrase has taken on the significance of a cheap commercial jingle and nothing more. What Americans once held dear now has the magnitude of a Saturday morning cartoon, replete with simplistic patriotic jargon and pie-in-the-face shenanigans, aimed at the suckers who won’t, or can’t see past the mindless imagery.

I have never been so ashamed to be an American and, you know as well as I do, world opinion confirms the ignominy. We once thought of ourselves as promoters of free will and choice, probably another con job, but at least we were given a taste of substance. Now we are nothing more than bullies, torturers, and opportunists, and no matter how many ‘freedoms’ and ‘liberties’ that numbskull in the White House injects into his kindergarten grade rhetoric, we are aware of our culpability. The ineptitude of Halliburton in protecting our soldiers does not qualify as liberty, and appeasement of the oil cartel has nothing to do with freedom.

Sweeping this scum from the White House is now our only option to insure the integrity of our democracy. Short of that, we cannot allow this moron and his miserly wizard of a vice president to invade another country. We have graduated from the academy of inanity and it is time we show these privileged despots our diploma.
